Ph 3 Development of Bemarituzumab in FGFR2b-Expressing Gastric Cancer Stopped
Bemarituzumab is a first-in-class fibroblast growth factor receptor 2b (FGFR2b) targeting monoclonal antibody. Based upon data from the FORTITUDE-101 and FORTITUDE-102 Phase 3 studies, the Company does not intend to pursue regulatory approval in first-line gastric cancer. FORTITUDE-103, a Phase 1b/2 study of bemarituzumab plus oral chemotherapy regimens with or without nivolumab in patients with first-line gastric cancer was stopped.
